My Year In Music – September 2026
Sometimes the songs are easy. They arrive first thing in the morning, bouncing around my head begging to be made the song for the day. Sometimes multiple songs show up in one day and they all deserve a spot on the MYIM playlist. But, of course, sometimes it’s not that easy. Sometimes I just find…

Let’s Talk About This & That (Mini Album Breakdown)
This & That is Stray Kids’ 10th Mini Album and probably the first in which the title track was inspired by the contents of a snack bag. It consists of 8 songs and a run time of about 25 minutes. Once again, 3RACHA appears consistently throughout the credits as lyricists and composers which ensured Bang…

In Depth Mini Album Review – Big Ocean’s THE GREATEST BATTLE
Honestly, coming into this review, I constantly thought of Big Ocean as very different from me despite the fact that, as K-pop idols go, they are perhaps the most like me. Much like me (Emma), the members of Big Ocean are all hard of hearing in some capacity. Formed under Parastar Entertainment, Big Ocean consists…

July 2021 Monthly Round Up
Between heatwaves and birthdays, July has been fun. There have been reunions, parties, a lot of work and, strangely enough, a lot of chicken dinners babyyy. Also we have an actual gig to go to soon as well which is insane. This month we even had to take a break because work and being responsible…

Lockdown Lessons
In the last year, a lot of people have tried to improve themselves during their time in lockdown or take up a new hobby or learn something new and, since lockdown is kind of ending here in Ireland, I’ve decided to have a look at what Lockdown Lessons I’ve learned. Some were great, some not…

My Year in Music – June 2021
It’s been a month already? Well, that means I must offer you some of the randomness that appears in my brain in the form of music. Sometimes it makes sense, other times not so much but I can’t help that and I won’t prevent it either. Honestly, the more nonsensical choices only appear on this…

June 2021 Monthly Round Up
Happy end of June everyone! We all survived a month with amazing weather that resulted in very high levels of pollen for the majority of June here in Ireland and we (Niamh mainly) are proud we survived! June has kicked up our work schedules into overdrive but, fear not dear readers, we are here with…

Cruella: Movie Review
With another Disney live action after making its appearance on Disney+, we learn the origins of one of the worst Disney villains. We see how young and unique Estella becomes the fashion obsessed and more than slightly demented Cruella but is this another Disney cash grab or is it actually worth the watch? We’ll have…

The New Music Mega POST 28/5 – 4/6
What a crazy two weeks it has been! Unfortunately, this week, we are a few days late because work has both of us run ragged as Ireland reopens. After a little unexpected time off we are back with another list of must listen to new music choices. We are here, as always, to provide you…

My Year In Music – May 2021
So, May ended with a scorcher of a weekend and good moods all around. We’ve finally gotten a little freedom around here. Funnily enough, I used last year’s MYIM May post as a template for this one and the mood last year was far less cheerful. I suppose it’s proof, to myself and anyone who…
