My Year In Music – April 2026

April’s been hectic. We’ve been trying our best to make time for everything but there’s never enough hours in the day for everything but ‘we’re getting by’, right? This month was all about livestreamed fan meets and concerts, Netflix binges and we finish the month a whole tooth lighter (^,^)

I’ll be honest, there were times this month when I felt I wasn’t doing enough for the blog but then I remembered that I am doing all this blogging in my free time (which I don’t have a lot of) while being sleep deprived so the fact that I remembered to fill in the MYIM playlist is an achievement in itself. I also had to remind myself that we write this blog as much for ourselves as we do for our readers. We don’t want to burn out trying to churn out badly written posts just to keep the blog active. So forgive us for being quiet but we are very busy adulting a lot lately. Overtime is not fun. But, as usual, I’m leaving you with the playlist for year so far and also for the month of April too. April 12: perfect blues – Hannah Bahng (What a stellar live performer! Love her show and this song in particular)
April 13: Million Voices – Otto Knows (A road trip playlist staple and a great summer song)
April 14: Green Light (feat. André 3000) – John Legend (Copy moon joy)
April 15: Yin and Yang (FANXY CHILD Ver) – ZICO, Crush, DEAN & PENO MECO (Song suggestion accepted. Thanks Amigo)
