My Year In Music – September 2026
Sometimes the songs are easy. They arrive first thing in the morning, bouncing around my head begging to be made the song for the day. Sometimes multiple songs show up in one day and they all deserve a spot on the MYIM playlist. But, of course, sometimes it’s not that easy. Sometimes I just find…

Let’s Talk About This & That (Mini Album Breakdown)
This & That is Stray Kids’ 10th Mini Album and probably the first in which the title track was inspired by the contents of a snack bag. It consists of 8 songs and a run time of about 25 minutes. Once again, 3RACHA appears consistently throughout the credits as lyricists and composers which ensured Bang…

In Depth Mini Album Review – Big Ocean’s THE GREATEST BATTLE
Honestly, coming into this review, I constantly thought of Big Ocean as very different from me despite the fact that, as K-pop idols go, they are perhaps the most like me. Much like me (Emma), the members of Big Ocean are all hard of hearing in some capacity. Formed under Parastar Entertainment, Big Ocean consists…

Well, another month is in the bag and it’s starting to look a bit more summery out there, you know, when it isn’t pouring rain. This month we were (and, really, I mean I was) spending far too much money on game consoles, learning lots about Formula 1 and enjoying some amazing new music! We…

Review: Justice League vs. The Snyder Cut
Forget Batman vs. Superman, it’s time for the greatest DC showdown of all time: Justice League vs. The Snyder Cut! At a mammoth 242 minutes long, Snyder’s Justice League is an entirely different animal when compared to the cinematic release of the Justice League and lacks the awkwardly edited and entirely unnecessary hand held video…

Raya and The Last Dragon – Movie Review
So, I sat down and watched Disney’s latest release ‘Raya and the Last Dragon’ which is visually beautiful and wonderfully animated. It’s clear that Disney has been taking tips from Pixar and it’s paying off. Directed by Don Hall and Carlos Lopez Estrada while John Ripa and Paul Briggs co-directed, ‘Raya and the Last Dragon’…
