My Year In Music – September 2026
Sometimes the songs are easy. They arrive first thing in the morning, bouncing around my head begging to be made the song for the day. Sometimes multiple songs show up in one day and they all deserve a spot on the MYIM playlist. But, of course, sometimes it’s not that easy. Sometimes I just find…

Let’s Talk About This & That (Mini Album Breakdown)
This & That is Stray Kids’ 10th Mini Album and probably the first in which the title track was inspired by the contents of a snack bag. It consists of 8 songs and a run time of about 25 minutes. Once again, 3RACHA appears consistently throughout the credits as lyricists and composers which ensured Bang…

In Depth Mini Album Review – Big Ocean’s THE GREATEST BATTLE
Honestly, coming into this review, I constantly thought of Big Ocean as very different from me despite the fact that, as K-pop idols go, they are perhaps the most like me. Much like me (Emma), the members of Big Ocean are all hard of hearing in some capacity. Formed under Parastar Entertainment, Big Ocean consists…

New Year’s Playlist
We entered 2024 on a high; motivated and inspired to do our best this year to be the best version of ourselves. We wanted to kickstart our year (because this year is our year) our way and what is more ‘our way’ than giving you a playlist. Was 2023 perfect? Far from it but we…

2023 Yearly Round Up
And with that the 2023 season comes to an end… and 2024 kicks off. There’s so much to do and see this year but, before we look forward, we should also look back at the year that was and remember the best bits of 2023. This year had major ups and downs for both of…

October 2023 Monthly Round Up
Autumn has truly hit us with the bad weather in recent days as we both drowned in Halloween movies, sweets and a howling good time (howling, get it?). October saw us attend a Chasing Abbey fan event in honour of the munchkins in my life, Emma injuring her back majorly (editor’s note: it was not…

September 2023 Monthly Round Up
Seems like September is over and out and we’ve done our best to try and provide you all with at least one post a week while we try our best to get back into the swing of things after our summer break. It might take some time for us to get the balance just right…

One Piece: Live Action Review
You know a story is going to be good when a pirate captain starts his story on a sinking… boat. Much like Captain Jack Sparrow, Luffy starts his story in a sinking boat too but has infinite optimism for what looks like a spectacular journey. Today, we’re reviewing the live action adaptation of One Piece…

The reputation Era
There will be no further explanation. There will just be reputation. Taylor Swift Reputation is everything. It’s more important than anyone ever seems to realize and no one seems to care about their own impact on anyone else’s reputation either. Your reputation can determine your standing in society. A good or bad reputation could make…

June 2023 Monthly Round Up
We are ringing in the end of June exceptionally delayed and that is my fault (Niamh). The end of June was insane with the end of the School Tour Season, finding my feet with a new role in work and Emma being my personal support when energy levels were exceptionally low! June saw us celebrate…

My Year in Music – May 2023
I know I say this every month but, I promise, I am in fact alive just working six days a week and having no social life but I am alive, I swear. I’ve missed a lot of reunions and social events lately and the blog has suffered hugely because of work but I can only…

May 2023 Monthly Round Up
Hello Internet, this is OMG calling! To be honest, I don’t actually know who was meant to write the intro this month but you got me (Emma) so: Hi! When I say adulting has brought our blog to a standstill, I genuinely mean it. Niamh took a well earned holiday to enjoy everything Eurovision for…
