My Year in Music – October 2026

The ‘ber’ months are rushing by rapidly. The weather has been oddly mild recently and I’m waiting for some switch to flip and for the cold weather to really arrive and kick our asses. But we’re not here to talk about the weather, are we? This month has taught me that I’m not invincible and that I do need to slow down and be wiser in the future. Injuries are no joke. My advice (that I’ve learned the hard way): Listen to your body and learn your limits. I’m not saying don’t push your limits but be careful when you do. You only have one body to live in so take care of it; it has to last a lifetime.

Also! October saw us start an F1podcast: OMG’s Blue Flag Podcast! I’ve always wanted to start a podcast and my goal is to teach F1 to complete beginners of the sport, answering questions that newbies may have. So if you’ve become interested in F1, please do give it a listen because our second episode is coming soon.

Oct 10: Baby Now That I Found You – Ella Bright (This is such a beautiful rendition of a lovely song and sometimes a softer version like this one is needed)
