Well, it seems February has come to an end. A month where I worked too much and didn’t/couldn’t give myself the breaks I needed. In my defence, I wasn’t exactly given much choice when it came to rest. But now I think I can pause and think long enough to prepare this post for you all.
I think my lesson to you all this month is pretty simple. You have one life ‘so live a life you will remember’. Money comes back but your time doesn’t. Time is the most precious commodity we have and you don’t know when everything could change for the better or for the worse. Calculate your risks because nothing scares some men more than a calculating woman. Calculate, scheme, plan and plot because not everyone can be the Disney princess. Besides, sometimes making people nervous is fun because just the thought of your existence makes them uneasy. Don’t smile just to put others at ease. Don’t shrink because someone might think you’re too ‘much’. You can never be too yourself. I mean the people who mind don’t matter and the people who matter don’t mind. Being fake is easy. Being unashamedly yourself? Now, that’s hard. Opening up and showing your discomfort and the less than flawless side of yourself is brave and the most honest version of ourselves. Who gives a sh*t how anyone else perceives it? Be honest. We’re all human. We all have our own imperfections. No one can be perfect all the time. But that’s enough of that! Tis a wonderful and splendid day, how art thou? Lol

Feb 11: Robert De Niro’s Waiting – Bananarama (Do I have an explanation? No, no I do not. still a good song though ( ＾∀＾)
Feb 12: Hey DJ (Remix) – Meghan Trainor, CNCO & Sean Paul (Meghan Trainor is slowly becoming a regular on MYIM playlist. Have to admit she has been part of some banger tracks.)

Feb 24: Human – Rag’n’Bone Man (Respect is so important. Celebrity or not, people deserve to be treated as humans)
Feb 25: Fendi 2 – Rakhim, Khim & ayv1o (I adore Fendi and, no, it has nothing to do with their brand ambassador… I’m not saying it doesn’t help though. I’ve been fascinated by the brand for years (as in I’m watching their MFW show on TikTok as I write this) and it is my goal to own a Fendi bag and, so help me God, I will get one.)
Feb 26: More Than Enough – Harry Hudson Taylor (a shout out to a wonderful person who creates music when it’s not necessarily easy but easily necessary)
Feb 27: Often (Kygo Remix) – The Weeknd (I heard someone sing it and my Shazam brain immediately provided me with my preferred version of the song so ‘Thanks’ are in order)
Feb 28: Those Eyes – New West (It’s the small things that matter in love. See I can be romantic… When I want to be. But not many people see that side of me)
Well this is short and sweet but there is another month in the books and another one rapidly coming down the line so I will see you on the next one. February may be the month of romance and love but March can be just as exciting and fun. Just wait and find out. Who knows what’s coming next! Until then, Okayiloveyougoodbye!! ( ^ * ^)
