Just three friends sharing their passion music, gaming, travelling, movies and a few bits in between!

Welcome! Welcome, welcome! Happy Hunger Games! Oops wrong intro! On behalf of the OMG team, welcome to Our Muchness Guide’s 2026 kick-off. There is very much a ‘New Year, New Me’ vibe within the team this year and we are starting as we mean to go on: welcoming you back, welcoming you for the first time or welcoming you for your one and only visit (We’ll be sad to see you go but y’all come back now, y’hear?). What does 2026 have in store for OMG? Hopefully more fun, positive surprises and posts, post and more posts. Whether you’re from Ireland or Singapore (we can see where you’re from readers and how many of you there are 😉 hello to you too and thank you for reading), America or the Republic of South Korea, you are always welcome here. We have always and will always aim to be a safe space for everyone. For some of you we will be a source of entertainment, for others a fun distraction from a busy life. Regardless why you read our blog, you are more than welcome to be here. This year, we are hoping to find more music, movies, books and TV shows that inspires us to review more and more inspiration to keep our minds churning with ideas that we can entertain you with.

I, personally, can guarantee the return of My Year in Music (MYIM), I do write it after all. MYIM is a song a day challenge that will be dropped at the end of every month with monthly and a yearly playlist to enjoy. Links to the playlists on Spotify will be included each month and sometimes my choices will make sense, sometimes they won’t but, what I can guarantee is that, there will be plenty of commentary, bad jokes and questionable song choices for the whole year. Really, it’s just me finally making use of the jukebox that is my mind and sharing the songs that get stuck in my head with you all so they can get stuck in yours too. Hehehe, it’s such a fiendishly clever way to get some of the most random and possibly annoying songs stuck in your head. I apologise in advance for nothing.

Among the other things that I can guarantee is the likelihood that our posts, at some times, will seem so incredible structured and relevant to the time of year while, at other times, they will be random and entirely out of the blue. The fun is never knowing what kind of post you’ll get. This is a hobby for us and different things in our lives will inspire different ideas and blog posts. I can also guarantee, at times, you will not be able to tell who is writing. There are three possible writers to choose from but if you ever want to comment on a post feel free and the author will respond to you if they can. But, if you can’t tell us apart, that’s okay, people who we know struggle to tell the difference between our writing. Lastly, there is one thing I can not guarantee and that is a regular posting schedule. The blog fits around work and life but if you want to be the first to know about our posts keep an eye on our socials:

Instagram
X
Tiktok (we should probably actually start posting here too. We’ll try! I promise.)

So, please, sit back, relax and join us. It’ll be fun to have you here. 2026 is going to be So Good. And may the odds be ever in your favour 😉
