Just three friends sharing their passion music, gaming, travelling, movies and a few bits in between!

We are so back! Back with energy. With more balance. And with karmic cycles closed. *cue Finally Free by Niall Horan* We have grown as people, we have learned a lot and, to top it all off, we’ve brought a friend along with us that we’ll introduce you to very soon. But what’s really important is that we are back and we’re better than ever. Our Muchness Guide 2.0 has landed, and this time, it’s personal. Sorry, I’ve just always wanted to say that XD

OMG has always been personal to Niamh and I, and we’ve always tried our best to create posts that we were proud of and only wrote posts about things we were interested in. Along the way, we lost sight of that goal, and, for me, anyway, that hobby became a chore that took up a lot of time that I didn’t have. Life has a funny way of slowing you down, though, and forcing you to take stock of what you’re doing and where you’re going. We sank hours into work for the blog that we got no return on. We worked our butts off, sometimes for what felt like no reason, but, this time, we know our goals. We know who we are as people, and we know what we want to do and how to achieve the things we want to do as well. We have our rules for OMG, and I’m sure somewhere Niamh is cooking up our post schedule.

So allow us to introduce ourselves again (….well, except for Aoife. She’s new, obviously):

Emma – I’m an ISTP Gemini if that means anything to you (to normal people that will mean little to nothing but, to a select few, that will hopefully mean something at the very least). I am the oldest and probably the most sarcastic as well. I’m a lot of things including, but not limited to, a Swiftie, a STAY, a League of Legends player, a Pokémon master and a member of the Creed. I love to travel and dance. I love music, video games, movies, F1, anime, and K-dramas.

I also run the OMG Tiktok. Yes, we actually have one of those, and, LOOK, I even included the link! So, not only am I essentially the editor and in charge of the OMG email account, but I’m also a video editor, sound editor, and content creator for the blog too. I have a particular set of skills that I can’t use anywhere else, so I might as well use them here. And, lastly, I’m probably the most straightforward and blunt one of the group.

Niamh – Hi all, my name is Niamh and I’m the one out of the three of us who was an emotional mess the past year. However, I did a lot of soul searching, recovered from severe walking pneumonia and slayed as part of a pretty fantastic management team in work to start 2025 with 5 awards under my belt.

One thing that started to become clearer and clearer in recent weeks was that I 100% needed to do more things that I love and, you guessed it, I missed blogging a lot! I’m also the dyslexic sunshine of the OMG lineup so you may be seeing more from my partners in crime than me as it takes me longer to be happy with my work. And, yes, I am only learning that is okay!

In 2021, I dived in head first and found a love of F1 while prepping for attending the Dutch GP with Emma for her birthday in 2022. This year, I’ve dived into the world of K-Pop properly ahead of Stray Kids in Amsterdam; y’all are not ready for the Guide of a Baby Stay!  I’m a hopeless romantic so you know I’ll be the one focusing on all things rom-com and having high expectations for our movie, tv series and book boyfriends. 2025 has been a ‘catch flights not feelings’ kinda year so travel is also high on my list this year. Who knows, OMG may get a post or two about my travels. Lastly, one thing I am very passionate about is Irish music, despite being burned over the years; so stay tuned as I dive back into the best way to share my music passions.

Aoife – Hello to all the lovely readers out there! My name is Aoife, and I’m excited to be a new member of Our Muchness Guide. I am delighted to join these two wonderful women, who are among the hardest-working people I know. They still find the time to share their passions and interests with the world, which I admire greatly.

Let me share a little bit about myself. I’m from Ireland and work in Music PR, helping independent bands and musicians gain exposure. I have a strong interest in Irish history, the GAA (Ireland’s national sport), and I have been fascinated by the Titanic since I was about six years old. My parents jokingly think I was reincarnated from the Titanic because I spent so much of my childhood researching the ship.

I love all things music, especially the Irish music scene. Attending gigs and traveling are my two biggest hobbies. Recently, I have gotten back into reading for the first time in a few years, so I hope to share some book reviews, concert reviews,  music reviews, and other bits along the way.

So, now that you know us, I think it’s time to get down to business! Until our next post, we are the new and improved Team OMG. We’ll talk again real soon, we promise.
