All Time Low – ‘Once In A Lifetime’

First up, we have a band who has been a part of our lives since we discovered them back in 2005. Drum roll please, ladies and gentlemen, as we introduce All Time Low and their new single ‘Once In A Lifetime’.  All Time Low are a rock band from Maryland, US. They have been constants on Niamh’s yearly best songs list for years. ‘Once In A Lifetime’ is All Time Low’s first song of 2021 and it’s safe to say All Time Low are on top of their game again with another amazing song!

Benny Blanco & Gracie Abrams – ‘Unlearn’

This track is a vulnerable declaration of feeling and honesty. It highlights the things that need to be unlearned in and because of a relationship. Gracie Abrams delicate voice compliments the vulnerability of the track and it is such a mellow single.

Darcy Faith – ‘Bubbles’

Next up is an artist us here at Our Muchness Guide are delighted to say is finally back releasing music again! After almost 2 years of a break, we are buzzing for Darcy Faith new single ‘Bubbles’. Darcy is a Dublin based singer-songwriter, has an exciting 2021 lined up and truly is one of our ones to watch this year!

Hunter Hayes – ‘If You Change Your Mind’

Next we have Hunter Hayes’ ‘If You Change Your Mind’. Carrying on from similar stories told within Hunter’s music, ‘If You Change Your Mind’ will hit home to listeners who were hopefully about the one that got away. This is Hunter’s second release of 2021 after taking a break from releasing music in 2018. We look forward to Hunter’s year of music releases continuing!

Julia Michaels – ‘All Your Exes’

Julia has always been a fantastic writer and lyricist and this track is no different. Granted the message in the chorus is sledgehammer blunt but it is really a nod towards the jealous feeling that can be inspired by the exes someone’s never met when friends bring up memories of the past. Julia has this wonderful habit of writing songs that a lot of people can understand and relate to and this single is one that plenty of people can relate to.

Lenii – ‘Straitjacket’

Next up is Ireland’s newest global superstar, Lenii. Anyone who is not familiar with this artist, she is an up and coming singer-songwriter and producer from Cork. Her debut EP ‘In All Fairness’ came out last year quickly followed by the Tik Tok driven hit ‘The Kids Are All Rebels’. 2021 has seen Lenii grow from strength to strength. Her newest single ‘Straightjacket’ hits with incredible beats and interestingly blunt lyrics; Lenii has a fun bop along number with this single!

Lucy Gaffney – ‘Star Sign Lover’

Lucy is a Belfast born and Liverpool based singer-songwriter.’Star Sign Lover’ is her third release after beginning to release music in 2020. ‘Star Sign Lover’ is a nice number to be introduced to Lucy’s music. Her soft vocals will draw you in as you listen closely to the story behind this song! One thing I enjoyed about this song was the upbeat and happy feeling the song left me with.

Mimi Webb – ‘Good Without’

We found Mimi Webb months ago thanks to Tik Tok! She is dominating with her new release ‘Good Without’ racking up over 1 million streams in less than two days! If you have never heard of Mimi Webb, she is a singer-songwriter from the UK with a recording contract with Epic Records. A name to remember as, Mimi is definitely just going to get bigger and bigger from here. ‘Good Without’ is our favourite by Mimi as it shows off her vocal range and the story the song tells is all too familiar to us here at Our Muchness Guide.

Niall Horan – ‘Niall’s Mix’

Niall’s EP appeared out of nowhere, we only actually found it because it appeared on our new releases list. The six track EP tells its own story by including fan favourite tracks from both Flicker and Heartbreak Weather to show how well the two albums can be blended together. Though there are no new tracks, the EP tells its own unique story from start to finish.

Nív – ‘Home’

Home is a beautiful, mellow track with simple guitar music in the background to allow the lyrics and vocals to take centre stage. In this track just sit back and enjoy the gorgeous blend of harmonies in the chorus. Nív’s vocals will give you goosebumps, it really is superb and another track from another one of our homegrown artists.

Olivia Ter Berg – ‘How To Save A Life’

This addition is a bit late but another amazing TikTok find. Olivia appeared on our FYP, sharing the fact that a lot of people were saying a harp cover of any song would never be popular but she has created a gorgeous cover of The Fray’s How to Save a Life using her harp to create a beautiful, ethereal song.

Pitbull, IAmChino & Farruko – ‘Ten Cuidado (feat. El Alfa and Omar Courtz)’

The song is mostly in Spanish but that doesn’t stop this song from being a bop that you can really dance to. This track is ridiculously catchy from Mr. Worldwide and his latest collab partners and definitely worth a listen. On the plus side, you definitely don’t need to understand Spanish to get the general gist of this track.

Subradio – ‘Out Of My Mind’

Subradio are an Indie Pop Rock band from Washington DC. Thanks Instagram sponsored posts for helping us find this band! ‘Out Of My Mind’ has a catchy chorus which is matched by the incredible earworm that is the instrumentation. Subradio are truly smashing it with this Indie pop number number! One band I am hoping crosses the Atlantic as soon as possibly for touring!

Taylor Swift ft. Maren Morris – ‘You All Over Me’

Lastly, we have the music Queen that is Taylor Swift with her surprise release ‘You All Over Me (From The Vault)’. Her first never before heard song from the vault that features the talented Maren Morris and it’s a yes from us! Collabing with Maren Morris on this one was an excellent choice as both artists on the same song makes the single truly magical! We are enjoying this one and look forward to what else Taylor has up her sleeve when Fearless (Taylor’s Version) Album drops next month!

Until next time, enjoy the music!
